The feel of her in his arms was the best homecoming he could have ever gotten. Returning her kiss, he felt like he had never left and it was awesome. “I missed you too.” He whispered. Chiyo was the happiest she had ever been. Cuddled against the man she loved going to sleep together as if no one else existed. Unconsciously pulling him tighter while she dreamt.
She dreamt of her and Rennyn being able to settle down one day and buy a house. One away from any sorts of beings that would judge them. Being able to wake up every morning in each others arms and not have to worry if they would live through another day. Slowly waking uo from her paradise dream land she slowly stretched her body and let out a yawn. Smiling when she saw her lovers bright face

Smiling back at her he leaned his head down and kissed her lightly on the lips. “Good morning my beautiful Chiyo; did you sleep well?” Seeing her in the first light of morning, she was as beautiful now as always, but there was something about the way he saw the last remnants of sleep still playing in her eyes that made his heart swell with a renewed love for her.

He absently traced little circles on her back with his fingertips as he made no effort to get up. He knew they were going to have to get underway soon but he wanted to enjoy their current setting as long as he possibly could. Looking in her eyes, he could see them spending the rest of their lives together in a place where they both belonged and were accepted. He found himself longing for that day…

The rest of the night they slept in the bed Rennyn had promised Chiyo, safe and secure in each other’s arms. Rennyn woke when the first light of day began to slowly creep in through the window, bringing with it the promise of another chance to spend it with Chiyo.

Her slow even breathing told him she was still fast asleep and he smiled at the way they fit so perfectly. Her head on his chest was hidden by her hair; gently brushing it away, he was rewarded with her dream smiles and he hoped he was part of them. Her silky body pressed against his was so soft and warm was something he would never tire from as they lay naked underneath the covers. Content to stay there until she awoke, he nestled his head into the top of hers and closed his eyes, drifting in and out of sleep while he listened to the birds usher in the glorious new day.
